THE rescheduled Grass Valley derby was finally played on Friday night and ended up with a nail-biting draw.
Grass Valley Green were sent in to bat against an extremely young Grass Valley, and were quickly all out for 65.
Gary Bignell was again the savior with a quick 33.
Grass Valley required around two an over to get the win and struggled to do so, ending up needing five to win from the last over.
It all came down to Lachie Thompson who had to get two runs from one ball.
He played the ball through short cover and then scampered through for one run, meaning the game finished a tie.
The rest of the games over the weekend had mixed results.
Grass Valley Green forfeited to Bakers Hill on Saturday and Toodyay lost to Grass Valley over on Bert Hawke.
Toodyay only just scrapped through with enough for a game and were dismissed for 64.
Grass Valley passed that score easily enough, only losing three wickets and declaring at 104 around the 20th over mark.
On Sunday Ballardong made the trip over to Toodyay and won on a forfeit.
A scratch match was played on the Toodyay pitch before the heat got to everyone.
