The Northam Over 60’s Group has been busy recently, being entertained by a number of different community clubs and creative groups.
Northam Over 60’s Group vice president Robert Pages said they have recently had singers, dancers, jugglers and acrobats to perform for the group.
“We try and get local where we can,” he said. “Today we have ukulele players from York. I’ve never heard a ukulele band before!”
Mr Pages said an award-winning poet Keith Lethridge visited the group on November 2. “He was great,” he said.
Mr Pages said the purpose of the club is to keep elderly people occupied.
“You have to keep people busy, your mind busy,” he said. For more information on the group contact Sandy Welch on 0415 440 785.
