The historic Old Girls' School building is on the back on the renting market.
The Wellington Street building was built in 1877 by Northam pioneer George Throssell.
Previous occupants include the Avon Valley Arts Society and CY O’Conner.
Northam Shire chief executive officer Jason Whiteaker said any business or community group can apply to rent the building.
He said the rental rate would be dependant on who the successful candidate was.
Expressions of interest can be made to the Shire by end of business.
