The next edition of WAM’s Wheatbelt Touring Circuit sees a new group of talented Perth and wheatbelt artists showcasing their music across the region.
The Northam show will be at the Riverside Hotel from 8pm tonight with free entry.
The tour will be headlined by indie rock favourites Rag N’ Bone, whose lead vocalist Kiera Owen recently won WA’s Best Live Voice award at the National Live Music Awards.
The group won the triple j Unearthed slot to play Fremantle’s Falls Festival this year and have graced international festival stages at Rock A La Buse (Reunion Island), Music Matters Live (Singapore) and Concrete & Grass (China), along with hometown performances at SOTA, Hyperfest and WAMFest.
The band will be supported by Carla Geneve is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter hailing from Albany.
Her debut EP Storm in A Teacup was released as a 15-year-old and it pricked up ears, helping gain slots at Fairbridge Festival (2016) and the Nannup Music Festival (2017).
Carla is currently completing WAAPA’s Diploma of Contemporary music and her new track Sharknet will soon be released on WAM’s Sounds Of The Great Southern.
