A Northam family trio will ride from the Perth Hills to Northam to raise funds for Alzheimer’s WA.
For the fifth year local rider Tina Smith will join Wine and Horses on the trek but this year will be joined by daughter Hannah Smith and mother Dianne Tinetti.
Mrs Smith said thanks to the great support of friends and family Team Tinetti Smith’s donation page is at $1000.
“Thank you to all the generous people, businesses, for sponsoring, donating, and volunteering your service to make this event so successful,” she said.
“We can’t do it without you.”
Raffle tickets are being sold at the Purslowe Tinetti Funerals office with prizes including a holiday to Broome or Margaret River.
People in Northam will get the chance to see 70 horse riders along the rivers edge on Broome Terrace on Saturday, October 13 between 2.30pm to 4pm.
Spectators can follow the horses past the Bert Hawke Hockey Oval to Avon Equestrian Centre where they can donate at the fundraising stall or join the raffle.
A live auction will be hosted from 6.30pm Saturday with dinner, live music and a bar until late.
Due to late minute cancellations there are still some positions open for riders and support people.
