A free musical Christmas show is heading to Northam next week to encourage the local community to look out for each other this festive season.
The Synergy Christmas Elves will perform a show at the Northam Recreation Centre on December 1, from 6.15pm to support Lifeline WA’s Christmas appeal; Shine a Light for Life.
Lifeline WA chief executive officer Lorna McGregor said the festive season is Lifeline’s busiest time of the year.
“It’s important to be mindful of how the people in our lives are coping, and letting them know that they should never have to feel alone and that help is always available,” she said.
Synergy marketing manager Kelley Yeats said she encouraged the community to support the event.
“As the sun begins to set in Northam we hope families will come and watch our elves perform and take part in the vibrant activities and competitions at our tiny solar christmas home,” she said.
Ms Yeats said Synergy will also be holding its Xmas Lights Trail again this year.
