A group of men in Northam have banded together to grow out their beards during the month of November for men’s health.
In Balance physiotherapist Kosta Snedden wanted to raise money for the Movember Foundation and said he found the perfect group to do it with him.
“I thought this was a really relevant group to do it with,” he said. “They are made up of war vets and cancer survivors.”
He said the Movember Foundation raises awareness and funds for preventable things like prostate cancer, depression and suicide. “These things exist and it’s important to be aware of them and speak about it,” Kosta said.
Kosta said the group attends his exercise class.
“They know each other through the Northam RSL but they come see me twice a week,” he said.
