Stewart's Savemor Pharmacy opened in 1907 and is celebrating its 110th birthday this year.
The first two owners of the pharmacy were members of the Stewart family and the fourth and current owner, Sharon De Longville, has owned the pharmacy since March 2010.
Sharon has extensive experience in the industry, having lived and worked as a pharmacist in the Wheatbelt since 1989.
She brought Moora Pharmacy in 1991, moving to York in 2000 and lived between York and Perth from 2004-2013.
Stewart's Savemor Pharmacy has always been renowned for personal customer service and Sharon and her daughter Kaelee, now managing pharmacist, are continuing that focus as their ethos today.
Sharon and Kaelee have been enjoying co-managing the pharmacy together over the past 6 months, building relationships with their lovely patients and offering a personal service, to help their patients better manage their medications while liaising with doctors and other health providers as needed.
“We strive to ensure our patients feel comfortable and fully understands how to best take their medications to achieve optimal health outcomes,” Sharon said.
“We want to continue to focus on the most important factor of our business and our core motivation as community pharmacists - the satisfaction and well-being of our customers.”
