Wongan Hills Therapy Group (WHTG) will be provided with $30,000 in support from the CommBank Foundation over the next three years.
The group will receive support over three years meaning they will be able to plan ahead and do a more with the money they receive.
The non-for-profit supports families from around the region who have children with disabilities and limited access to therapy and educational services.
Volunteer therapy assistant Lorraine Lobo said the funding will go towards the running of a mother support group, paying for a coordinator and organising special programs for children.
“It is a wonderful grant because instead of making groups apply for small chunks, they have wonderful foresight to approve it and we get it over three years,” Lorraine said.
Commonwealth Bank Northam Branch manager Clara Watson said it is fantastic to be able to support local charities to continue invaluable work in the community.
