Investigation into wheatbelt officer altercation
A internal police investigation is being conducted into an alleged incident between a male and female officer at the Wheatbelt District police office in Northam on Tuesday, August 22.
A male officer has been stood down until the investigation is finished.
A police statement said no other information would be released until the report is completed – with the only comment being that an officer was not ‘punched in the face’.
