THE push towards an annual World Pulse Day moved a step closer to reality after a motion moved at a Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) conference to make February 10 World Pulse Day was passed.
The motion needs to be finalised and if passed, it will be forwarded to the United Nations, the FAO’s governing body, for approval.
The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations is a specialised agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger and is based in Rome, Italy.
