The Apex Club of Northam held their AGM and annual changeover night on Saturday, at the Northam Tavern.
To mix it up, members were asked to dress as something starting with the letter A. Former Apex members, Perth Apex members and a few people from the Lions Club attended the event and enjoyed the dinner, games and quizzes.
Sam Moss, former club president, handed the reigns over to Amiralee Joy, who will also be the treasurer this year. Cherie Trinder will be the new secretary and Jessica Morris was handed the vice presidency.
Over the past year, Apex Northam have increased their membership from three to 13.
“We held fundraisers throughout the year including the RSL music fundraiser and the Family Fun Day at Grass Valley Hall,” said Sam Moss.
The club will be helping the Lions Club of Northam look after boats on the night prior to the Avon Descent. Sam said a lot more social events will be planned for the club this year.
