The Lions Community Markets will be the venue for an upcoming art and craft supply destash.
Two local ladies who regularly have market stalls at the Lions Community Markets have organised the event to be held on Saturday, August 5.
Jenelle Morgan and Jenny Cotter have both accumulated all sorts of craft supplies over many years and thought a destash would be a great opportunity to sell off some of their craft materials.
“Our craft cupboards are overflowing,” said Jenny Cotter.
“Hopefully we can sell enough to then spend on our current craft interests.”
Jenelle said they are hoping the market will be a busy one, due to it being the Avon Descent weekend.
”As Saturday, fifth of August is the beginning of the Avon Descent boat race, there will be extra people around” said Jenelle.
“It will be a great opportunity to have a look at your materials and threads, knitting and crochet yarns, paints, scrapbooking supplies, beads – in fact anything to do with art and craft that you would like to sell.”
