NAB AFL Auskick has been running in Northam over the past eight weeks for local boys and girls.
Children from kindy to year four learnt about football in an exciting, social and safe environment.
An impressive 81 children were enrolled this year for the weekly coaching sessions.
A typical Auskick session includes games, skills training including kicking, marking, handballing, bouncing, a modified game and encouragement awards.
The program provides an opportunity for parents to interact with their children through the activities, have the opportunity to make new friends, learn about the game and spend quality time with their children.
On Saturday, June 10, Northam Auskickers attended a Fun Day, hosted by York Auskick.
Teams from Toodyay and Quairading were also in attendance.
Three Northam teams of 12 players attended the event.
