Police officers in management from all over the wheatbelt travelled to Muresk Agricultural College last week to hear what Fair Game was all about.
The organisation works with regional communities by running workshops for children and donating recycled sports equipment.
Wheatbelt chief executive officer Nicki Bardwell said it was good to engage the managing police officers within the community. “We want to work with the towns and do more sessions this year,” she said.
Ms Bardwell said the organisation has holding sessions in the wheatbelt since 2012. “Around five volunteers head to a regional centre once a month,” she said. “We go to either Narrogin, Northam or Quairading. “We are aiming to do 10 saturdays this year.”
The next session will be held on July 2 and will be in either Northam or Quairading.
