A burglary on a home address in Northam lead to the fraudulent use of a multicurrency card.
Between Friday, May 9 and Sunday, May 11, 2014, an unknown person has entered a house in Northam, possibly through a kitchen window.
The property was ransacked with jewellery, a laptop and a multicurrency card stolen.
The multicurrency card was later used to buy items at the nearby Caltex Service Station and obtain cash at a National Australia Bank ATM in Fitzgerald Street.
Police have released a CCTV image of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The male is described as:
20 to 25 years of age
Medium build
Dark complexion
Small amount of facial hair on sides and a moustache.
Wearing a black long sleeve shirt, long black pants, black shoes and a red and black hat (believed to be Chicago Bulls).

DAMAGE – NORTHAM
CASE DATE: MONDAY 2 APRIL 2012

A deliberate act of damage caused by a fire left the owners of a garden nursery in Northam with a $40,000 damage bill.
At some stage between 2am and 2.50am on Tuesday April, 3 2012, an unknown offender cut a hole to the bottom of the fence to the garden centre on Ensign Dale Place, Northam.
Once inside the yard the offender/s tipped over a jerry can filled with fuel and lit it up.
The ignition quickly spread fast burning plastic pots, fibro sheets, dynamic lifter, a lawn mover, whipper snipper and a selection of potting plants.
The fire also caused extensive damage to the shade cloth, fence and mulch.
Thankfully a passer-by noticed the fire and ran to a nearby service station to call the Fire Service.
The actions of this person allowed the fire to be extinguished before any major damage was caused to the building and structure.

STEALING – NORTHAM
CASE DATE: THURSDAY 27 OCTOBER 2011
LOCATION: NORTHAM CARAVAN PARK – YILGARN AVENUE, NORTHAM

The owners of a caravan park in Northam were left flabbergasted after an unknown couple drove into their caravan park during broad day light, before simply hooking up one of their caravans and driving away.
Noticing the caravan wasn’t parked in its usual position at Northam Caravan Park the owner asked around the grounds if anyone has seen it and decided to check CCTV footage.
The footage revealed a White Commodore sedan enter the caravan park at around 6.40pm on October 28, 2011, where the occupants hitched up and drove the $2500 caravan away.
The vehicle of interest was seen at a nearby service station just prior to attending the caravan park.
Unfortunately no registration number was obtained for the vehicle, however the registration number for the caravan is 1TKM525.
It is described as a 1977 Coronet Caravan, white and green in colour.
Police managed to recover the stolen caravan as it was dumped on Fairclough Road, Datatine. To further help with their investigation they have released CCTV footage of a male and female who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The male is described as:
Fair complexion
Short almost shaved dark hair
Wearing an orange/red t-shirt with grey hooded jacket and denim jeans.
The female is described as:
Dark hair pulled back into a bun
Wearing dark track pants and white jackets.

AGGRAVATED BURGLARY – MANDURAH

Mandurah Detectives are still seeking information regarding an aggravated burglary that occurred on Thursday, April 13 2017.
About 5pm, a 73-year-old woman was covering her gopher which was parked on the front porch of her Mandurah Terrace home when she was confronted by two men.
One man pushed the woman into her house before hitting her on the head with an unknown object.
When the woman regained consciousness she realised various items had been stolen including her handbag and jewellery with great sentimental value.
The woman was conveyed by ambulance to the Peel Health Campus where she was treated for her injuries.
Detectives have released composite images of two men they believe would be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man who assaulted her is described as being in his late 20s, dark skinned, approximately 183cms tall with a solid build. He was wearing dark coloured tracksuit pants and top.
The second man is described as around the same age, dark skinned, approximately 180cms tall, with dark hair. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper and tracksuit pants.

BURGLARY – GREENFIELDS

Between the hours of 6pm on Thursday, March 30 2017 and 8.20am on Friday, March 31 2017, five locked units were broken into and property was stolen from within.
Several men gained entry to a storage compound and forced entry into each individual unit.
They stole various property items including jewellery, tools and personal effects.
Several of these items were later recovered in Orelia and Rockingham areas, however the ashes of a deceased man were also taken and are yet to be recovered and returned to the family of the deceased.
Police have released CCTV footage of three men who they believe can assist them with their investigation into the burglary offence.
The first man is described as Caucasian, slim build, 40 years old with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a long sleeved t-shirt with red sleeves, blue jeans and thongs.
The second man is described as Caucasian, slim build, 30 years old with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie and grey tracksuit pants with black trainers.
The third man is described as Caucasian, medium build, aged in his thirties with short dark hair. He was wearing a light coloured hoodie with ‘Everlast’ written on the front.

STEALING – FALCON

Mandurah Detectives are seeking public assistance to help identify a man who boarded a route 594 bus at the Mandurah Train Station on Thursday, January 19 2017.
A woman was on the bus, sitting with her handbag next to her. A man behind her grabbed the bag and got off the bus near a shopping centre on Old Coast Road, Falcon.
The male is described as: Dark skinned, short dark brown hair. He was wearing red shoes/trainers, light grey shorts and a dark grey hooded top with three light blue stripes down the arms.

STEALING – SILVER SANDS

About 10pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, two men gained entry to the grounds of a resort on Adonis Road, Silver Sands.
The men used a spray can to spray paint over CCTV cameras in an attempt to conceal their identity.
The men damaged a drink vending machine and stole an amount of money from inside. The men then left the location.
Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The first man is described as:
- Light skinned
- 20-30 years of age
- Medium build
- Unshaven
- Wearing a light coloured T-shirt, long pants and a baseball cap.
- Carrying a small suitcase
The second man is described as:
- Tan skinned

STEALING: MOTOR VEHICLE – GREENFIELDS

Mandurah Detectives are investigating a Greenfields burglary which happened between Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5, 2016.
During the burglary, a number of personal property items were stolen as well as a gold coloured Toyota Camry sedan.
The vehicle was located abandoned on Boundary Road, Dudley Park just before midday on Saturday, November 5, 2016. A check by police of CCTV footage in the area, revealed a man seen walking from the stolen vehicle.

Mandurah Police are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a damage incident which happened in Mandurah on Friday, October 28, 2016.
Just before midnight a man was seen running up to and jumping on the bonnet and windscreen of a Hyundai Getz which was parked in a carpark on Barracks Lane. The force caused the window to shatter.
The man is described as having a solid build with curly dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a purple t-shirt with the logo ‘RWE’, ¾ length shorts and no shoes.

FRAUD – HALLS HEAD

Mandurah Detectives are investigating a burglary on Gibson Street, Mandurah which happened about 1pm on September 14 2016.
The elderly occupant of the house was with her daughter in the front yard doing some gardening. Entry was gained into the house by damaging a rear door.
Once inside a handbag was stolen from a kitchen table and a gold ring was also stolen from a bedroom.
A credit card from the handbag was used to fraudulently purchase items from stores in Halls Head later that day.

Two people gained entry to the complex and once inside have stolen a number of alcoholic drinks.

Just after 3pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016, a man entered a restaurant on Clarkshill Road Secret Harbour.
The restaurant was closed for business, however entry was gained through an unlocked rear door.
The man made his way through the kitchen to the front counter where he stole an amount of cash from a cash bag and wallet.

BURGLARY – DWELLINGUP

Dwellingup Police Station are investigating a burglary that occurred in Dwellingup.
Between 3pm Tuesday, May 24 2016 and 8.30am Wednesday, May 25, 2016, a business premises on Banksiadale Road was broken into.
Items stolen are described as:
- One vintage 1835 Peter Wright wrought iron anvil, weighing approximately 500kg
- Two cast iron farrier anvils
- 12 ball peen hammers. One side shaped like an ordinary hammer, the side is the shape of a ball. The handles are made from wood or metal.

When the lady got to checkout, she found that her purse was missing. Inside the purse were credit cards and cash.

ARMED ROBBERY – GREENFIELDS

About 4pm on Friday, August 7, 2015, a man entered a video store on Paraguary Avenue in Greenfields, approached the service counter and demanded money from the till.
The man produced a knife with a serration down one edge and flat blade down the other and demanded the contents of the till again.
The staff member handed the till tray over and the man removed the money and left the store in a southerly direction.
The man was seen to jump into the passenger seat of a dark coloured Holden Astra sedan 2001-2004 model and the vehicle has driven away.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The man is described as:
- Light skinned
- 25 – 35 years of age
- Approximately 183cm tall
- Medium build

Firearms were stolen in a brazen daylight burglary in Esperance.
Between 10am and 3.20pm on Monday, March 30 2015 a burglary was committed in Sinclair (Esperence), where numerous firearms and replica firearms were stolen.
The firearms stolen include:
- Gamo Big Cat CF S Airgun rifle Bore 20 Joules
- Walther Dominator .22 Air Rifle
- Ruger .22 Semi Auto Pistol in case with two, 10 shot magazines
- Replica 303 rifle
- Hamerli .22 pistol in case with two, 10 shot magazines with a pink/red grip
- Replica Colt 911 pistol
- Replica Walther P38 pistol

BURGLARY – DONNYBROOK

A large quantity of cash was stolen from a Donnybrook grocery store.
About 1.15am on Thursday, February 19, 2015, unknown offenders forced open a security grill to gain access to the office of a fruit stop on South Western Highway.
Once inside they removed a safe containing a quantity of cash.
They were seen leaving the area in a silver coloured vehicle with the registration number 1DXM 896.
Police have released CCTV images of two males who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

- 40-50 years old
- Short greying hair

Police wish to locate two males who stole alcohol in Collie.
About 3pm on Saturday, August 30, 2014, two males entered a liquor store on Johnson Street.
The males selected three bottles of spirits from the shelf and left the store without paying for them.
It is believed the same two males caught a South West Coach lines bus from Collie to Perth on Monday, September 1, 2014.

BEING ARMED IN A WAY SO AS TO CAUSE FEAR – NORTHAM

A firearm was produced by a male in a terrifying ordeal for a Northam family.
About 12.30am on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, two males attended a residential address in Northam where they attempted to speak with the occupants at the address.
After a short conversation, one of the males produced a firearm and pointed it at the front door in order to threaten the occupants.

The male is described as:
- Between 30 and 40 years of age
- Fair skinned
- Full facial beard
- Large tattoo on the left forearm and smaller tattoo on the right forearm.

AOBH – ESPERANCE

An innocent bystander received serious injuries after a fight broke out in an Esperance kebab shop.
About 3.15am on Sunday, April 20, 2014, a group of friends were at the Esperance Kebab store on Andrew Street when an argument between two males in the shop broke out.
As one of the males went to punch the other male he ducked and the punch connected with an innocent woman who was standing behind him.
As a result of the punch the woman received a broken front tooth and swelling and bruising to her face.

DAMAGE – BUSSELTON

A male caused serious damage after he took his anger out on the front door of a service station in Busselton.
About 7am on Saturday, January 11, 2014, a male entered a service station on Strelly Street in Busselton and requested a particular type of cigarettes.
When advised that the brand he wanted was currently out of stock he became aggressive.
On his way out of the store he punched the door sensor, causing nearly $2000 worth of damage, before driving away in a blue Ford sedan.

FRAUD – DUNSBOROUGH
- CASE DATE: MONDAY 20 FEBRUARY 2012
- LOCATION: DUNN BAY ROAD, DUNSBOROUGH

Police need your help to identify a man who brazenly walked into a bank and fraudulently withdrew $3000 cash by signing a false signature.
It only took minutes for a man to realise his wallet had been stolen to discovering someone had taken out $3000 from his account.
Unfortunately the man’s wallet was stolen on Tuesday February 21, 2012, from his car parked at his work address on Naturaliste Terrace, Dunsborough.
A short time later at 11.06am a male walked into a bank on Dunn Bay Road, Dunsborough where he presented a cash card to the teller and managed to withdraw $3000 cash by signing a false signature.
The male left but not before being caught on CCTV. It is believed the male could be travelling through the area.
