Purslowe Tinetti Funerals hosted a very successful fundraiser on Friday evening, with approximately 100 people coming to support the event.
A silent auction organised by Tina and Dianne Tinetti, drew a large crowd who were hoping to get their hands on the lego table specially made for the event, or the Avon Valley Contractors dog goodies package, to name a few.
Dianne Tinetti said they are hoping to have raised around $3000 from the auction. “We haven't counted yet – but we are hoping the amount is close to it!” she said. The auction preempted the Biggest Morning Tea event held by the business this Thursday.
The event will have a children's area, sweets and goodies to purchases and coffee and tea with all funds raised going to charity.
Ms Tinetti has asked everyone to come along and support the morning tea.
“It’s that one time of year – where you can spend a small amount of money, usually spent on your usual morning cakes and coffee, but it will go to the Cancer Council. “If you can’t get here, we will deliver.”
