A 23-year-old year old woman maintained a plea of not guilty in the Northam Magistrates Court on Monday for allegedly being inside a car that was stolen and used to assist in multiple Northam and Perth home burglaries over the Christmas/New Year period.
The court heard the car was stolen from the Armadale area on December 27, 2016.
On January 3, the car was allegedly involved in a police pursuit and a stinger was used on Mitchell Avenue to stop the car.
A juvenile driver and passenger were caught at scene.
The court heard that fingerprint forensic evidence placed Lana Louise Bolton in the vehicle.
The charge has been remanded to the Armadale Magistrates Court on May 23, 2017 for a mention only.
Ms Bolton appeared via video link from Bandyup Prison on the day for two other charges including aggravated home burglary and stealing, allegedly occurring on January 7.
Police prosecutor Sgt Phil Milne told the court Ms Bolton and one other person allegedly entered the rear door of a Northam home on Withnell Avenue and stole items including a passport, jewellery, car keys, electronic devices and $450 cash.
It has been alleged the pair fled through the back door when the owners came home.
Bolton previously lodged a plea of not guilty to all three charges and maintained this plea.
Northam Magistrate Jennifer Hawkins refused her application for bail.
The charges of aggravated home burglary and stealing have been remanded to Northam Magistrates Court on July 3, 2017, for a trial allocation date.
