Central Wheatbelt MLA and The Nationals WA leader Mia Davies has slammed WA’s federal politicians for failing to fight against the State’s GST return.
She asked why the WA federal MPs had not fought for a better deal with the State set to only receive 34 cents for every dollar it raises in 2017-18.
“Malcolm Turnbull promised to put a floor in the GST when he was in Perth last year, but that promise was off the table as soon as he boarded the plane back to Canberra,” Ms Davies said.
