THIS weekend in the Dallimores A-grade series we had only one game played, due to the Roo’s forfeiting to the Grass Valley side.
The game between Toodyay and Balladong was played in good spirits considering the heat. A good win was had by the Balladong side with some young players in the team.
Sunday’s Cadds B-grade game between Grass Valley and Bakers Hill had some decent scores but the Grass Valley boys finished with 165, nearly lasting the full overs.

Pink Stumps Night to light up Henry St Oval
THE Northam Cricket Association will be holding a Pink Stumps Night at Henry Street Oval on Friday to raise valuable funds for the McGrath Foundation.
The Pink Stumps Night will involve two grand finals featuring local male and female cricketers. The Riverside Twenty20 grand final between Grass Valley Hoppers and Don’t Block Baby will commence at 6pm, while the grand final of the inaugural Northam Perth Scorcher’s girl’s competition will be played prior to the main event at 3.30pm with the NSHS and St Josephs team going head to head.
Proceeds will go to the McGrath Foundation who supports those living with cancer through the funding of McGrath breast care nurses nationally, so bring your family and friends and come dressed in pink. There will be merchandise, auctions, competitions for the whole family, raffles, playground, canteen, DJ, sausage sizzle and the bar will be open (no BYO alcohol). Proudly supported by the Shire of Northam and the Department of Sport and Recreation.
