Jax, a rescue dog from SAFE Avon Valley, is in need of a loving family.
Jax was abandoned for six months in the wheatbelt and was emaciated when he arrived at SAFE two months ago.
He lived in weeds in a backyard and volunteers had to surgically remove several grass seeds from his feet.
The golden coated dog is roughly four years old and is described by volunteers as a “lovely, sooky boy who would be great in a family and is good with children.”
He is eager to please, loves walks but will need a strong person on the leash.
Jax is now healthy, vaccinated, microchipped and sterilised. The new owner will only have to pay the adoption fee.
SAFE rehomes animals who have been impounded or surrendered.
