T20, Pink Stumps and Country Cup on the cards

DUE to the wet weather we have been having this weekend just gone, all games of cricket were washed out.

This coming week brings some exciting games with the Riverside T20 competition proudly supported by the Department of Sport and Recreation and the Shire of Northam. Our semi finals will be played tonight at Henry St Oval at 6pm with the Don’t Block Baby’s versus Balladong Bombers. Then the other semi final on Friday at 6pm, Henry St Oval with Grass Valley Hoppers versus Robbo’s Roo’s.

The winners will be playing in the grand final on the March long weekend (March 3) as our Pink Stumps charity night game. With the Northam Perth Scorchers girls comp having a game before the boys starting at 3.30pm at the Henry St Oval.

The NCA are also hosting Geraldton on Sunday at Bert Hawke for the annual Toyota Country Cup, which is a T20 match and the winner goes through to a finals round, later this season in Perth, so if you’re free to come on over to Bert Hawke and cheer on the boys.
