The Government has allocated $1,500,000 for the building and relocation of the new Northam pool.
Minister for Sport and Recreation Mia Davies announced the allocation on Saturday, along with $100,000 for the Shire of Kondinin to upgrade its Community Recreation Centre.
Ms Davies said she was very pleased that two of the eleven projects approved for funding were in the central wheatbelt.
“Well done to all applicants who were successful, it's an incredibly competitive funding round,” she said.
