The Riverside T20 has finished. Friday night’s game was a clash of the wooden spooners between Toodyay Snakes and Bakers Hill Dozen. Toodyay boys had their first win for the season.
The next game was Saturday afternoon at Bert Hawke with the two middle placed teams taking on each other in a close game with Robbo’s Roo’s getting the Don’t Block Baby’s score in the second last over with one wicket left.
Back at Henry Street was the top-of-the-table clash between the Balladong Bombers and Grass Valley Hoppers, with Balladong Bombers coming away as the undefeated side in the Riverside T20.
Finals for the T20 competition will be played on February 15 and 17, with the Grand Final on Friday March 4.

New comp for Northam girls
The Northam Cricket Association was one of three country WA associations receive Cricket Australia grant money to build female cricket in the Wheatbelt region.
For the first time there will be a girl’s only cricket competition called the Northam Perth Scorchers Girls Comp. It is aimed at girls aged 12-15 who want to play in teams of 7-9 players in a modified game. All new equipment is provided for the girls to use, so parents aren’t required to spend money on new gear.
