Old records state the Toodyay property was built by Hassell & Hassell in 1900 – 1902 and housed 25 people including shearers, shed hands, rouseabouts, wool-classers, farriers and cooks.
The historic property has 11 rooms inside, stone walls to each end of the property and the original stone stables, which had a loft where the feed was stored and the stable boy slept with the horses.
The Boyagerring Brook meanders across the block and there is a fresh drinking water bore that provides water for domestic use.
The 44 acre property has been with the Mckay Family since 1944 and has sold prior to the scheduled auction.
