The Nationals held their first Bush, Band and BBQ event on Saturday at the historic Southern Brook Hall.
Local MPs Hon Mia Davies and Hon Martin Aldridge mingled with over 100 members, supporters and community members enjoying a spectacular spring afternoon in the Avon Valley.
There was plenty to keep everyone entertained, with live music well into the evening, a silent auction with over 50 items up for sale and some great food.
“Our intention was to create a relaxed, family friendly event for people to enjoy and I think everyone loved the setting at the beautiful hall,” Ms Davies said. “Our politics is based around geography rather than ideology, and it’s great to see a diverse range of people, young and old, interested in what we’re doing.”
Ms Davies said she was humbled by the support from the community, especially those who attended and donated items for the silent auction.
