Registrations are now open for the 2016 Wheatbelt Walking Challenge, which will run from November 14 to December 14, 2016.
In its second year, the event is now run completely online and is a way to improve general fitness, while being in the chance to and win over $500 worth of prizes.
By joining the challenge, Wheatbelt residents will have the opportunity to connect their fitness tracker or smartphone and be placed on a leaderboard with other participants.
Participants will also have access to a private Facebook support group to share photos from their walks, support other participants and receive advice and motivation from a qualified exercise physiologist.
Registrations are now open and will close at 150 participants. The first 20 people to sign up will receive a free Wheatbelt Walking Challenge t-shirt.
