The Mukinbudin sisters have received The Fundraiser of the Year award award for their efforts in fundraising and promoting stroke awareness.
Last year their mother Annie suffered a series of strokes which caused her to go from living independently on the family farm to needing 24-hour care.
The sisters decided to take action and formed “Annie’s A Team” in Perth’s HBF Run for a Reason.
They shared their story and ran 12 kilometres to raise money for The Stroke Foundation.
