The state government is on track to deliver a 2013 election commitment to safeguard threatened native mammals at Dryandra Woodland in the Wheatbelt.
Environment Minister Albert Jacob said a fence would be built this year to create a 1000-hectare safe haven in the woodland for native animals including woylies and numbats as part of the state’s new wildlife provisions.
