SPEEDWAY action returns to Avon Valley Speedway on September 17.
The venue has undergone a major refurbishment to improve the racing for competitors and enjoyment for spectators.
A mixed field of sprintcars are expected to attend on the day from the 410 and 360 classes down to the Limited and 320 classes, with teams keen to use the meeting as a shakedown for the big season ahead in Western Australia.
Members of the Westcoast Speedcar Club have already locked this event in with the Northa track expecting between 12 and 15 cars at each round.
Expect experienced racers such as Kevin Miles, Alan Meakins and Gary Mann to be upfront while a mixture of other drivers will provide an entertaining show.
Also on the show will be the Formula 500s, the Holden versus Ford battle in Street Stocks (that is expected to include multiple WA champion Jason Oldfield) and the AMCA Nationals.
Competitor gates open at 8am with the spectator gates open at 10am and racing from 11am to 3.30pm.
