AVON Valley Arts Society Inc. is set to present an exhibition of new works by member David Cameron at the Northam Visitor Centre gallery space, 2 Grey Street Northam.
The hours for the exhibition are Monday to Friday 9am-4pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm.
The show will run until Sunday, August 14.
David is a retired doctor, originally from Scotland.
His love of drawing and painting began as a student in London when his mother encouraged him to take art classes to counterbalance his gruelling medical studies.
His new watercolour and pen works have been inspired by 20 years of walks in the Kimberley, international travels and a love of the rural Australian landscape.
AVAS president Cliff Simpson commented on the exhibition and welcomed Mr Cameron to the gallery space.
"Do come and view these lovely works," he said.
"But be quick if you want to see the ostriches, I have a feeling that one will run out the door!"
