Labor's 2013 candiate Madeleine West came in second, with 41.9 per cent of the vote after preferences with 36,985 votes in total.
The beleaguered Palmer United Party, with Francis Hough as their 2013 candidate, received 6587 votes at the previous election.
Palmer United's Dio Wang is seeking re-election on July 2 in the senate.
Since the 2013 election, the incumbent Christian Porter has been elevated into the Federal Government, becoming the Minister for Social Services in September 2015.
A diverse electorate, the Pearce boundaries takes in an arc of rural areas to the north and east of Perth, extending from Lancelin on the coast through Gin Gin to the historic agricultural towns of Toodyay, Northam, York and south to Beverley and Westdale.
Pearce has a total area of 13,250 square kilometres.
