SINCE I have been involved with RSL and held the position of president something special happens either leading up to or Anzac Day itself.
This year was no different from any other year.
As I was to welcome the community to our main service a young girl who had just turned seven pass me an envelope.
I thanked the young girl and opened the envelope.
In reading the letter my eyes welled up with tears as did everyone that I showed the letter to after the service. I would like to share the letter with you.
Don’t worry about the future regarding the youth of today remembering Veterans. We are in good hands, the youth of today are quite capable in looking after us in the future.
