ON SEPTEMBER 28, two Northam people lost their lives on the road.
At about 4.45pm, a silver Holden Commodore sedan left Great Eastern Highway, Clackline.
A 42 year-old man of Northam, who was the driver of the vehicle, and a 19 year-old man of Northam, the rear passenger, both died at the scene of the crash.
A 38 year-old man of Northam, who was the front passenger, received serious injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue Helicopter.
WA Police Major Crash officers were in attendance at the scene.
A driver also died when his car left Great Eastern Highway and hit a tree near York on the afternoon of September 26.
Police say about 1pm, a vehicle left Great Southern Highway, Woottating, 25 kilometres from York and collided with a tree before rolling.
The male driver was found dead at the scene by a passing motorist who had stopped to assist.
Police said speed appeared to have been a contributing factor.
WA Police Major Crash officers are conducting inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
