A FATAL crash occurred between a truck and a car between Mundaring and Northam today.
Police and paramedics were called to Wundowie on the Great Eastern Highway at about 11.20am.
The jaws of life were used by Wundowie Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service members to free the person trapped in their car.
Unfortunately they died at the scene.
