DREAMS do come true as long as one has the heart and mind to study hard.
Dailin Manning who, at 16 years of age, is having the most exciting experience any young person could dream of.
She was the only West Australian among the 21 young Australians picked to participate in a three-week Professional Actors Masterclass organised by the Australian Institute for Performing Arts Sydney in Hollywood.
The ages of the group range from 13-27.
Dailin, from Bakers Hill, is mature and has had a life-long ambition to become an entertainer.
Most importantly she has had the support from all her family in her quest to become an actor.
For the past three years she has studied drama and performed in A Midsummer's Night Dream with the Garrick Theatre.
The production was directed by Peter Clark.
She also had two years with Stargate with Emma Perks as her drama coach.
As a youngster she and her twin sister would dress up and perform plays in the backyard much to the amusement and pleasure of those watching.
Who knows where this latest experience will lead as it is an opportunity for the many casting agents to peruse the Australian talent first hand.
Dailin has a wide scope of acting abilities, can sing like a lark and loves to dance jazz.
