RETIRED performer Jack Potter launched his book Wild Card: An Autobiography with Balls at Riverside Hotel last Tuesday evening.
The launch was well attended and filmed by Mal Roediger.
It will shortly be appearing on YouTube.
People were encouraged to take advantage of the promotional price of $20.
After the presentation of the book's contents, people could be seen buying books three or four at a time. "The book has already been well received by local folk who see it as a possible best seller," Potter said.
The story tells the tales of Potter and his wife and little son travelling across outback Australia and overcoming enormous difficulties.
"The book launch was one of several intended for the Wheatbelt be tween now and Christmas and it will be promoted in a highly individual way," Potter said.
