IF you have ever pulled up at Bakers Hill and thought the man playing the harp was pretty good, it turns out you're not the only one.
Chicago-based music publisher Eddie Caldwell has just offered local music identity Adam B Harris a publishing deal for 89 of his Celtic harp and new age recordings.
Mr Caldwell has successfully placed music with the Discovery Channel, FOX, CBS, National Geographic and other high profile clients. He is hoping to be able to use Mr Harris' music for streaming in Starbucks and inflight entertainment applications.
But Harris is keeping grounded.
"You'll still see me playing around the traps," he said.
"I'm not interested in relocating and my main focus remains playing festivals, house concerts and street performances.
"Having said that it's wonderful to be acknowledged in this way and great to have the opportunity for the music to be heard on a wider scale."
