THREE more people from Toodyay and Northam have been charged following Operation Dustoff, which relates to gun cabinet safety.
Northam Police officer-in-charge Ron Daniels, in giving an update of crime in the Wheatbelt region, said a laptop was stolen during a burglary in Grey Street.
A swag and a piano stool were also taken in a burglary on Habgood Street last Thursday.
A recent report from a Dowerin farm indicated a firearm safe was ripped from the wall."Thankfully there were no firearms inside," Mr Daniels said.
"The home owners had made arrangements before they went away."
The incident was reported last Thursday but Mr Daniels said it could have happened any time within the past three weeks.
Last Friday, a person was charged with a trespassing offence at two adjoining Cox Street houses.
Friday evening saw $500 taken from a wheelchair bound woman's purse at her Chidlow Street property.
"Stealing was also reported at Red Dot last Saturday lunchtime," Mr Daniels said.
"We have CCTV footage of the offender and will be paying them a visit shortly."
On Werribee Road, Wundowie, a 45 kilogram gas bottle was stolen on Saturday.
