WHEATBELT Police and Detectives have charged a number of people after executing a search warrant at a property in Grass Valley on October 14.
The warrant was executed as a result of inquiries into a number of firearms and property being stolen in the area.
Various items were seized including several firearms, ammunition and other items believed to have been stolen.
In nearby bushland, a 'Gator' ATV worth $15,000 stolen from a business in Northam, along with an off road motorcycle and motorcycle trailer from a burglary on a rural property in Northam on October 13 were also recovered.
A total of five firearms were seized from the premises, four of which have been linked to the burglary on the rural property.
Other property believed to be stolen was also seized pending further inquiries.
A 28 year old Grass Valley woman has been charged with one count of receiving stolen property, one count of possessing drug paraphernalia, one count of possessing unlawfully obtained property, one count of failing to ensure safe keeping of ammunition and one count of possessing a prohibited drug.
She appeared before the Perth Magistrates Court on October 15.
Further to this, a 24 year old Northam man has also been charged with five counts of burglary and commit, four counts of stealing a motor vehicle, six counts of stealing, three counts of trespass and one count of unlawful damage.
He appeared before Perth Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
