WITH the tennis season into its second week and the weather a lot more pleasant about 30 social members turned up for play on Sunday followed by a sausage sizzle.
Mid-week social tennis on Wednesday was also well attended with four courts in use.

Recent new players, including some juniors were introduced to the club's Code of Conduct as well as given a much needed tennis tip from Lynton Bowen, who suggested that during the serve one watches for the blur of the racquet to ensure the ball is struck correctly.
Social tennis is played at the Northam Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday mornings from 9am and Sunday afternoons from 1.30pm.
Competitive tennis, pennants, is played on Saturday afternoons and begins in two weeks.
