THE planning for the Northam Community Services, employment and training expo is nearing completion.
The team is raring to go for next week's event on September 3 at the Northam Recreation Centre.
"The name is a bit of a mouthful," Avon Youth chief executive Venessa Miler said.
"We're hoping, if this is successful, to hold it again and we may change the name to Live, Learn and Earn in Northam or something like that."
The team is excited at the response from the town and community.
Nearly 100 exhibitors, many of whom such as the defence force and the police, will be recruiting on the day.
"In addition we will have most of the community services manning a stand with staff ready to explain what they do or advise you on the best way to access their services," she said.
"The shire has been a great support as well and Radio West will be doing a live broadcast."
There will be live entertainment, bouncy castles and a free sausage sizzle.
In addition there is a door prize of a week at Abby Beach for people who attend on the day.
"There will be bus runs from the MAX Employment and Avon Youth offices from 9.30am and the Men's Shed has kindly offered to direct parking as there will be things to keep clear of, like the hot air balloon and shearing displays," she said.
Entry is free.
Doors open at 9am with the event going until 2pm.
