THE Northam Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Department of Sport and Recreation is in the process of sourcing a high profile guest speaker from the sporting world.
The individual would speak to members of the local business community at a breakfast and to sporting groups during the evening.
The Northam Recreation Centre is the likely venue. Other regions would also be visited by the guest speaker.
It is hoped the events will be held this year.
Entry will be free of charge.
Northam Chamber of Commerce president Paul Tomlinson said funding was already in place and it was simply a matter of finalising details.
