A YOUNG rock disco and games evening was held at the Northam Town Hall on July 4 for ages 9-17.
It was an opportunity for young people to communicate what they would like to see in town.
Ideas generated included a drop in centre, a gaming location, lighting at the skate park, a dance/music room and a computer club.
Northam PCYC manager James West said a dance studio to record music and dance was the most popular.
"At least half of the kids wanted that," Mr West said.
"I think it was popular because it is an activity which keeps them active and they enjoy doing it."
Mr West said another disco and games evening would be looked at in the future.
About 50 or 60 people attended.
