IT WAS a wet day for the second round of this year’s ladies’ championships.
The day was sponsored by Norma Lawler and the winner was Mikki Patton who continued her good form from last week with 71 nett.
Runner-up on a countback from Mikki was Toni Harken.
Winner of division one was Alison Rowland with 72 nett and division two winner was
Shirley Smyth with 77 nett.
Novelties for the day which were also sponsored by Norma Lawler were: longest
drive No. 4 (0-25) Melissa Dasborough, nearest to pin on No. 6 Fran Rak, longest drive on No. 10 (26-45) Vera Sheen, nearest to pin on No. 14 Shirley Smyth.
