A 23-YEAR-OLD Clackline man was killed instantly when the car he was driving collided with a Freightliner prime mover and semi-trailer at the intersection of Spencers Brook Road and Great Eastern Highway at 5pm last Thursday.
Jacob Tester was driving to work in Northam when witnesses stay he stopped briefly at the intersection before turning right.
Apparently he did not see the rig which was travelling west and a collision occurred which carried the Saab sedan around 100 metres west along the road.
The driver at the truck was taken to Northam Hospital suffering shock and minor injuries to his neck and shoulders.
