YORK police have highlighted the price of driver inattention.
Sergeant in charge Mark Gubanyi circulated a photo of a truck rollover which occurred on Spencer's Brook Road on April 17.
"A perfect example of driver inattention," Sgt Mark Gubanyi said.
"The vehicle veered to the left hand side gravel verge, came back onto the road, fish-tailed and rolled three or four times."
The driver was trapped in the vehicle and cut out by DFES.
He was then airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
"Luckily he was okay because they thought he suffered spinal injuries purely based on the impact taken to the vehicle," Sgt Gubanyi said.
"He suffered internal bruising, cuts and abbrasions."
Sgt Gubanyi said luckily he was wearing a seat-belt.
"I've shared this photo because of the Anzac long weekend," Sgt Gubanyi said.
"If you show images like that, people realise these are real and serious situations."
