AT THE Meckering end of season bowls dinner, Jeff Kelly was presented with life membership.
The presentation was made by friend and ex-Meckering bowler, Graeme Hill who had travelled from Perth for the occasion.
In his address, Graeme said that Jeff had been a bowler for Meckering for 35 years and had at various times been president, captain, selector and a keen attendee at working bees.
Jeff has also been a regular visitor to other bowling events in the Avon Valley Bowling League.
Jeff's wife Mary was in attendance and able to share his honour in receiving the award.
