A great field of 20 players took to the course on Saturday in what could only be described as a beautiful day for golf.

The winner was Gary Balt.

Although not as beautiful as the day, he has awesome power and no finesse and blew the course away with a score of 24 points.

Second was Ollie Griffiths with 23 points and third Bruce Smart (18 points) on a spin of the wheel from Cameron Stewart and Dave Jezierski.

The novelty went to Neil James while the birdie pot jackpotted.

On Sunday another good field of 17 players stepped out and it was the older generation showing the way.

The winner on the spin of the wheel was Geoff Ruscoe with 20 points from Coralie Giblett and third Norma Lawler.

Novelty winner was Ray Wiktorski and the birdie pot jackpotted.

Weekend winner was Ollie Griffiths with a score of 40 points.
