Young horse takes first place

21 Dec, 2011 09:56 AM
MINNIE Hall recently won first and third place with two different horses in the leaderboard for Preliminary Dressard for WA.

Antyk Angus is a Fresian cross and came in first and Jazzumi is an Anderlousen cross and it came third in the competition.

Both horses are only five years old and rider Minnie Hall said she is very pleased as this was their first competition.

Both horses competed in different events and were given an amount of scores but it was not until the last month of the competition that Hall realised she was in a very favourable position.

Hall has been riding horses all of her life and when she moved from Victoria she said the opportunities for horse riding opened up.
